Block 4/8 is reading…

look what

Caroline – Fly on the Wall: How One Girl Saw Everything by E. Lockhart

“It helps readers realize that your life isn’t as bad as you think. It’s not an ordinary book. It’s from a girl’s perspective so I think girls would like to read it. It’s about a girl who turns into a fly…”

Aiden – The Mark of Athena, Book #3 in Heros of Olympus Series by Rick Riordan

“It’s a great story about finding who you are. I’ve read all of the Percy Jackson books but not the first two books of Heros of Olympus. It’s not that confusing because I know the characters but there are some new characters added. I would recommend reading the first two before the third. I think people who are reading addicts would like this point. It’s 573 pages. People who like reading from the perspectives of different characters–especially Percy Jackson series. If you liked that then the Heros of Olympus series is for you. A lot of my friends are reading this and they recommended it to me.”

Ford – Artemis Fowl The Atlantis Complex Book #7 – Kindle – Eoin Colfer

“It kinda helps you find yourself. If you don’t know who you are, you can find yourself. It also teaches you if you don’t keep a secret, it could be the end of the world. Child prodigies would be interested in a book like this because it’s about a child prodigy–but you don’t have to be a prodigy to understand. But there are words you may not know. It’s told from the point of view of a child prodigy.”

Chris – Babylon Rising –  Tim LaHaye

“It’s actually about explaining the end times from a Biblical point of view. It has adventure in it, too, because the main character is finding artifacts because he’s an archeologist. People who like adventure and want to know more about the Christian faith and their view of the end times would like this book.

Peter – Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban – Book #3 Harry Potter Series

“I like it because it’s a page turner so I read it at a quick pace. And it’s never boring. It has a good mystery/adventure storyline. This is my second time reading through the series. My first time was maybe back when I was 5 or 6 living in Wisconsin. My mom used to read them to me and my sister. When we got the fifth book we started reading them on our own. This time around it’s different reading them because I’m remembering stuff about the books that I haven’t remembered.”
